Organic Certification Cost Share Program
Please note: USDA COST SHARE REIMBURSEMENT UPDATES
Under the Organic Cost Share Reimbursement Program (OCCSP), organic operations may recover a portion of their certification fees per scope of certification every fiscal year. OCCSP has been funded in a recent appropriations bill at $8 million per year for the next seven years, through 2031.
At this time, we do not yet have information on when applications will be accepted, percentage of reimbursement, or the deadlines for submission. The USDA is currently working to provide guidance to the FSA offices and state agencies that administer the program.
As soon as we receive instructions and timelines for this year’s cost share reimbursement process, we will update our website and notify all certified operations promptly with the details needed to apply.
